Kala Kalpakshetra is the brain child of Aruna Bhargavi that has been conceptualized with lot of care and mindfulness to promote Bharatanatyam with a holistic approach. The classes here provide an all-round training with respect to the practical aspect, theory, history and other aspects that surround Bharatanatyam. Established in 2012, Kala Kalpakshetra has students from the ages of 6 years on to 45+ years, both National and International backgrounds, develop a deep bond with dance and enjoy their journey with much interest and joy.

Kala Kalpakshetra, Bengaluru where she imparts training in Yoga and Bharatanatyam and also curates "Anveshanam”, a monthly collaborative series with other artistes and art forms creating an interactive platforms.

Kala Kalakshetra stands as a distinguished Bharatanatyam dance institute, committed to making your journey in the realm of this classical dance truly exceptional. With a legacy dating back to 2005, we have been instrumental in numerous success stories, delivering high-quality Bharatanatyam education.

Aruna holds MFA Degree in Dance and Allied arts, Certified Yoga Instructor and Ex-Senior Analyst from Goldman Sachs. A Bharatanatyam dancer with 3 decades of experience in the field.

Teaching Assistance

Poornima has been a practitioner and performer of Bharatanataym for the past 15years. She holds a Bachelors degree in electronics and is an Ex- LG Test engineer. A certified Yoga instructor, Poornima has taken up dance full time to explore and experience the nuances of this art form.

Ramya has been practicing and performing Bharatanatyam for the past 11 years. She holds a degree in BE – ISE and has worked a Team Lead in Byjus Academy. She has taken up dance full time and currently works as a Dance instructor in Airaa Academy.
